Homescapes watch ads for coins12/5/2023 Storyline (through dialogue and animated characters/objects in your garden/house, as well as an in-game social media tab where the characters post and interact with each other). There also aren’t any ads in these games which really makes me wonder how the heck these games make so much money ( literally millions of dollars a week). You do hit a wall if you run out of lives by losing levels but there are pretty frequent rewards that give you unlimited lives for a certain amount of time and you can also join a team and request lives from your team members (or just wait for your lives to regenerate). As with most games there are things you can buy (power-ups, lives, coins, event passes etc.) but they are optional and not overly pushed, and there isn’t even a separate premium currency for these games, just coins that can also be earned through playing levels. □ Are these free games or a “free” games? Surprisingly, given how much money these games make, these actually are genuinely free games. Of course the company that makes these games (Playrix) is one of the highest-grossing mobile game companies out there so it’s not that much of a surprise that they can put so much into their games. The game also has a charming storyline and characters, and it seems like there was a lot of work put into the scenes between levels and the art and whatnot. I actually prefer Homescapes more because of the cuter and more colorful match-3 tiles as well as the cooler/more satisfying power-ups and features. I enjoy match-3 games and there are a lot of decent match-3 levels and features, which are different between Gardenscapes and Homescapes (Homescapes being a spin-off of Gardenscapes). □ Are these games still fun? Yes, in my opinion they are still fun.
